Privacy Policy
Last updated October 11, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Mariaux Media collects through mariauxmedia.com, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Consultation requests. When you fill in the form, we receive your name, email address, book title, publication date or status, the services you are interested in and anything else you choose to write.
- Emails. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
- Client work. If you hire us, we hold the information needed to do the work, such as your book details, marketing assets, sales and ad reports, and billing details.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To plan and deliver the services you buy from us, and to invoice you.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and handles our email forwarding.
- FormSubmit delivers consultation form submissions to our inbox.
- Google provides our email inbox and the fonts used on this site, which means your browser requests font files from Google.
- Platforms we use on your behalf when you are a client, such as Amazon Ads, BookBub, Meta or email newsletter tools, as agreed with you.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet legal and tax requirements, usually up to seven years.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or receive a copy. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reputable providers and keep access to client information limited to people working on your account. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about privacy can be sent to [email protected].
